"Live The Adventure Of A Lifetime"
The 13-Day Education Expedition Nepal is designed to combine adventure, cultural learning, community service, and outdoor exploration into one meaningful journey. Rather than focusing only on sightseeing or trekking, this expedition gives participants the opportunity to experience Nepal through direct interaction with local communities while taking part in a school service project and exploring some of the country’s most popular adventure destinations.
The journey begins in Kathmandu, where participants meet the ground team, receive a trip orientation, and visit important UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square, and Boudhanath. These cultural experiences provide an introduction to Nepal’s history, architecture, traditions, and everyday life before the group begins the service project.
A major part of the expedition is the community service project at Kakani Brighter Secondary School. Participants travel from Kathmandu to the project site and spend several days contributing to school-building activities while interacting with local students and community members. The experience provides an opportunity for cultural exchange and allows participants to contribute directly to a local community while learning more about education and life in rural Nepal.
After completing the service project, the expedition continues with an exciting white water rafting experience on the Trisuli River before travelling to Pokhara. Participants then explore Pokhara’s major attractions, including Phewa Lake, the World Peace Pagoda, Pumdikot, and the International Mountain Museum. The combination of adventure and cultural activities makes this part of the expedition an engaging introduction to Nepal’s natural and mountain environment.
The final part of the journey takes participants into the Annapurna region for a four-day Poon Hill trek. The route passes through mountain villages and scenic landscapes, with overnight stays along the trail before returning to Pokhara. With trekking, rafting, community service, cultural experiences, and educational activities included, this 14-day expedition offers participants a well-rounded experience of Nepal beyond a conventional holiday.

The stupa is one of the oldest and most revered religious sites in Nepal, believed to date back over 2,000 years. According to legend, the site was chosen by a miraculous self-created (swayambhu) light that emanated from a lotus flower. The central stupa is topped with a golden spire adorned with Buddha’s eyes and eyebrows, symbolizing wisdom and compassion. The area around Swayambhunath is rich with temples, shrines, and prayer wheels, and it’s inhabited by a large population of monkeys, which are considered sacred.
Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square, is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was the royal palace for the Malla kings and later the Shah kings of Nepal. The square is a central location for festivals, ceremonies, and regal events, and is surrounded by spectacular architecture showcasing the craftsmanship of Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries. Key attractions include the Taleju Temple, Jagannath Temple, Kal Bhairav, and the Kumari Ghar (the residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari).
Boudhanath Stupa located in Kathmandu, Nepal, 3 minutes walking distance from your hotel is one of the largest and most significant stupas in the country. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. The stupa features a massive mandala and is known for its iconic all-seeing eyes, which symbolize the omnipresence of the Buddha. Surrounded by monasteries and a vibrant marketplace, Boudhanath serves as a cultural and religious center, attracting both locals and tourists.
