Itinerary

After being greeted by our guide and team upon arrival at Kathmandu’s International Airport (Alt. 1350m~4429.1339ft), you will be transferred to your individual hotels located in the heart of Kathmandu city.

After getting rested after the trip, check into your hotel rooms where our knowledgeable advisors will provide you with information about hotels, treks, local lodges, and overland drives, along with dos and don’ts.

Our scenic and cultural trek begins with a short drive, about 15 km northeast of Kathmandu, to Sundarijal—a charming farm town. From Sundarijal, we start our walk, ascending through farm villages and past cascading waterfalls, eventually entering Shivapuri National Park. The trail winds through forests and scattered villages, leading to Chisapani, perched on a high ridge north of the Kathmandu Valley at 2,165 meters. Here, you’ll breathe in the cool, fresh air and enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, and Jugal Himal ranges, as well as the Kathmandu Valley. Chisapani also offers spectacular sunrise and sunset views.

After a pleasant morning enjoying the sunrise over a chain of Himalayan peaks, the second day’s trek begins with a descent towards the charming farm village of Pati Bhanjyang, predominantly inhabited by Hindu Brahmins and Chhetris. From there, the trail ascends for about an hour before leveling off into a pleasant winding path through forests and villages, eventually leading to Gulbhanjyang—a perfect spot for a refreshing break or lunch.

Leaving this picturesque Tamang village, the route continues with a climb followed by a short descent to the village of Chipplin. The trek meanders through more farm villages, offering views of rolling green hills and distant snowcapped peaks until you reach Kutumsang for the overnight stop.

Kutumsang is a delightful farm village inhabited by a mix of Sherpa-Hylamo and Tamang ethnic groups. The village also boasts magnificent views of snowcapped mountains. The afternoon is free for you to explore this lovely village and its scenic surroundings at your leisure.

tarting the day from Kutumsang, the morning trek begins with a steady climb over the Yurin Danda ridge, passing through a serene forest filled with rhododendron, pine, and oak trees. The trail reaches a small pass at an elevation of 3,510 meters, followed by a gentle descent into a cool, shaded forest, eventually leading to an open, wide area.

After a brief rest, the trek continues with a short climb as the route diverges from the main trail connecting Langtang and Gosainkund with Helambu. The morning’s scenic walk concludes at Thadepati, where you’ll enjoy lunch and an overnight stay. Thadepati, the highest point of the trek, features a few well-maintained lodges and offers breathtaking views of rolling hills and the majestic snow-capped peaks of the Langtang and Jugal mountain ranges.

From Thadepati, trek to a ridge with views of the Jugal Himal and Ganesh-Manaslu ranges. Descend through rhododendron and pine forests to Malemche-Gaon, a village with Hyalmo, Sherpa, and Tamang communities.

In the afternoon, continue to Tarke-Ghyang by crossing the Melamchi River and climbing up to the village, with a stop at Nakote for lunch. Tarke-Ghyang is known for its Buddhist culture, wood carvings, and green apples. Explore the village and visit the Ama Yangri monastery.
