Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, and after clearing immigration and customs, a representative from Lhasso Adventure will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After resting to recover from your journey, you can explore the vibrant Thamel area, known for its diverse shops, hotels, and proximity to several historical buildings. In the evening, enjoy an authentic dinner and prepare for a city sightseeing tour tomorrow. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, you will enjoy a city tour of Kathmandu, exploring its historical and ancient heritage sites of significant value. On this guided tour, which showcases the rich diversity of the nation, you will visit prominent Buddhist holy sites. These include Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple) and Boudhanath Stupas, renowned for their religious importance, ancient monasteries, and unique cultural features.

Next, you will visit the Hindu holy site of Pashupatinath Temple, located on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. This temple is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in the world. The tour will also take you to Patan Durbar Square, a complex featuring the ancient royal palace, the unique Krishna Temple, a museum, resting places, and intricate carvings on stone and wood structures.

After the exploration, you will meet with your trekking guide to address any questions or concerns related to the upcoming trek. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Our trek begins today with a drive to Shivalaya. After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be accompanied by our guide. We navigate through the bustling streets of Kathmandu, passing the Newar towns of Banepa and Bhaktapur. The route follows the Bhote Koshi River up to a Tamang village, then continues alongside the Tama Koshi River until we reach Jiri. Known as the “Switzerland of Nepal” for its natural beauty, Jiri is a popular starting point for Everest treks. From Jiri, we proceed to Shivalaya, our destination for the day. The village is home to a diverse mix of Gurungs, Sherpas, Brahmins, and Magars. Stay overnight in Shivalaya.

Today, we rise early to begin our hike. Our route takes us through the Shivalaya Police Checkpoint. The trail to Bhandar is moderately steep, adorned with rhododendron clusters. As we ascend, enjoying the beauty of the rhododendrons, we reach Deurali (2,387m), providing a magnificent view of Pike Peak. Deurali is primarily inhabited by Sherpas and Tamangs. Continuing our journey, we descend until we reach the settlement of Bhandar, where we will spend the night.

Starting from Bhandar, we descend through dense forests and cross streams, passing small settlements like Dokharpa and Baranda. Then, we climb through forests and descend to the Surma River, continuing through the Likhu River valley. After about 3 hours, we reach Kinja village (1,624m), a business hub for Ramechap and Solukhumbu districts, where we stop for lunch. Our trek then continues uphill until we reach Sete, where we stay overnight

After breakfast, we continue our trek through the jungle, mostly through forested areas, until we reach Lamjura Danda for lunch. Energized, we tackle the steep route to Lamjura La Pass (3,532m), enjoying splendid views of peaks like Gauri Shankar, Dudh Kunda, and Mera Peak, as well as the colorful rhododendron forests. After soaking in the scenery, we descend to the village of Junbesi, predominantly inhabited by Sherpas and Newars, where we stay overnight

We’ll kick off the trek with breakfast in Junbesi before embarking on the scenic journey to Thuptenchholing Gumba. Along the way, you’ll immerse yourself in Sherpa culture, visiting monasteries and witnessing the beauty of Junbesi, one of the most picturesque Sherpa villages in lower Solukhumbu. Expect stunning landscapes, cultural richness, and the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people. Additionally, you’ll enjoy the lush greenery and captivating scenery. Rest overnight at Thuptenchholing Gumba.

We’ll spend the night at Yak Kharka.

We trek along a steep route to Dudh Kunda Base Camp, where Dudh Kunda Lake is situated, nestled at the base of Numbur Himal. This mountain, locally known as Shorong Yul Lha, holds religious significance. Hindu devotees often visit the lake for a holy dip. From the base camp, we enjoy views of Dudh Kunda Peak, Numbur I & II, and Mera Peak. Afterward, we trek back to Saharsbeni, combining trekking with pilgrimage. We stay overnight at Saharsbeni.

Today on our trekking trail, we’ll pass through Kaku and Basa before reaching Taksindu.
