"Live The Adventure Of A Lifetime"
The Nepal School Expedition – Kakani is a six-day educational journey that combines community service, cultural immersion, outdoor adventure, and leadership development into one rewarding experience. Designed for school groups, the program encourages students to step beyond the classroom while building confidence, teamwork, and global awareness through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
The expedition begins in Kathmandu, where students explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites and gain an introduction to Nepal’s rich history, culture, and traditions. Orientation sessions prepare the group for the journey ahead while promoting teamwork, responsible travel, and personal development.
Students then travel to the peaceful hill village of Kakani, where they stay at the fully supported Kakani Adventure Camp. Over two days, they participate in a community service project at Kakani Brighter Secondary School, working alongside local teachers, skilled workers, and community members on school improvement initiatives. These shared experiences foster cultural exchange while helping students develop leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The adventure continues with the scenic Changunarayan to Nagarkot hike, one of the Kathmandu Valley’s most rewarding walking trails. Passing through forests, farmland, and traditional villages, students experience Nepal’s natural beauty before reaching Nagarkot to enjoy spectacular Himalayan sunset and sunrise views. On clear days, Mount Everest can even be seen on the horizon.
Before returning home, students visit the iconic Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple, completing an expedition that brings together education, service, culture, and adventure. More than just a school trip, the Nepal School Expedition – Kakani provides an inspiring learning experience that leaves students with lasting memories, stronger friendships, and valuable life skills that extend well beyond the classroom.
