"Live The Adventure Of A Lifetime"
The Nepal School Expedition – Langtang is a unique educational adventure designed for schools seeking to combine outdoor learning, cultural immersion, and meaningful community engagement. Throughout 21 days, students experience Nepal’s remarkable landscapes while building confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships.
The journey begins in Kathmandu, where students explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites and gain an introduction to Nepal’s history, culture, and traditions. Orientation sessions prepare the group for the expedition ahead while encouraging teamwork and responsible travel.
The adventure continues into Langtang National Park, where students complete one of Nepal’s most scenic Himalayan treks. Walking through forests, traditional Tamang villages, alpine meadows, and glacial valleys, they gradually ascend to Kyanjin Gumba before climbing Kyanjin Ri (4,773 metres) for panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Along the trail, students learn about mountain communities, environmental conservation, and the importance of teamwork in challenging environments.
Following the trek, students experience the excitement of white-water rafting on the Trishuli River, developing communication, trust, and problem-solving skills while working together on the river under the guidance of professional rafting instructors.
The expedition then continues to Pokhara before students participate in a meaningful community service project hosted by the Mother and Children Art Foundation (MCAF). Working alongside local communities, students contribute to school improvement initiatives while experiencing genuine cultural exchange and gaining a deeper understanding of responsible community engagement.
The final days include visits to the historic city of Bhaktapur, where students discover Nepal’s living heritage through its ancient temples, traditional architecture, and vibrant local culture before returning to Kathmandu for reflection and departure.
More than a trekking adventure, the Nepal School Expedition – Langtang combines education, leadership, adventure, service, and cultural discovery into one unforgettable experience that leaves students with lasting memories and valuable life skills.
