It is a remote and scenic trekking route around Mount Manaslu (8,163 meters), the eighth-highest mountain in the world. It takes you through diverse landscapes, ancient villages, and Buddhist monasteries, and offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is classified as a restricted-area trek by the Government of Nepal primarily due to its proximity to the Nepal-Tibet (China) border, combined with the need to protect the region's sensitive cultural, environmental, and security aspects.

The overall success rate (meaning the percentage of trekkers who complete the full Manaslu Circuit Trek, including crossing the Larkya La Pass at ~5,106–5,160 m) is generally very high—typically in the 90–99% range for properly organized groups with good preparation, acclimatization, and professional support.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek is generally considered more difficult than the Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek due to its higher technical demands, remoteness, and extreme high-altitude pass.

The Manaslu Circuit Trek requires a good to excellent level of physical fitness, suitable for active individuals who can handle prolonged uphill walking, high altitudes up to 5,160 meters, and daily hikes up to 5 or 7 hours.

On the Manaslu Circuit Trek with Lhasso Adventure, you typically walk about 5 to 7 hours per day, depending on the terrain, altitude, and pace. The itinerary is planned to allow steady walking and proper acclimatization.

The main risks of altitude sickness on the Manaslu Circuit Trek include headache, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, and shortness of breath due to high altitude.
